Stearoylethanolamide (SEA) is a member of the family of fatty N-acyl ethanolamines collectively called anandamides.  It has been shown to decrease food intake independent of PPAR and without changing hematochemical parameters such as glucose and triglyceride levels or leptin (a hormone involved with satiety) expression.
